“They’re just breasts”

A group of women in Sweden are holding topless protests in Swedish cities, fighting for the right to go topless at their local public pools.

They’re “just breasts”! This is the rallying cry of a network of women who have launched a campaign for the right to bathe topless at Sweden’s swimming pools.

A new wave of feminists have been angered by an incident in September in which two bare-breasted young women were called ashore by a lifeguard at a swimming pool in Uppsala. When they refused to cover up, they were asked to leave the premises.

Bara Brost (Bare Breast) blog explains the aim of the protests.

  1. How can we possibly comment when there are no pictures ? 😉

  2. There are breasts, then there are BREASTS. But the dead of winter in Sweden would be kind of cold to go topless, I would think.

  3. I look forward to this trend finding its way to my local pool. It will make those laps go much easier. thinks( i wonder if women swim slower or faster topless)?

  4. Here in Austin it is legal to go topless anywhere in the city. Also to carry a gun. Topless women carrying guns walking around downtown, that is Texas culture!
(still waiting to see it though!)

  5. Louise I knew I was gonna get booby beggars, I just didn’t expect you to be one of them!

    Bit nipply Mad, foreshore.

If a few body hairs can slow down a cyclist Shaun, surely giant bo0bies are a disadvantage in the butterfly stroke.

Oo Mark, this is no bull, I actually did see both guns and bare boobies on 6th Street a few years back. Both were scary, as the breasts were mega plastic mounds on a teeny lady, and the gun, well, it was a gun. This is how I know for a fact Texans are insane.
